WHAT IS MORPHEUS8?
Morpheus8 by InMode delivers radiofrequency (RF) energy to different depths in the skin using small, tiny needles. The combination of the microneedles and RF energy causes tissue trauma, prompting your body’s natural healing response and producing collagen and elastin, the building blocks of healthy, youthful–looking skin. Microneedling uses tiny needles to puncture the outer layer of your skin to create a controlled skin injury. This damage to the skin stimulates your body to produce new collagen and elastin. The freshly made collagen rejuvenates your skin by filling in fine lines, resulting in an overall improvement in texture and tightness of your skin by removing the wrinkles, scars, stretch marks, and sagging skin that can make you look older as you age.

The RF energy further enhances skin injury by coagulating the tissue, improving skin tone, texture, and tightening. Your provider can customize the depth of the needle’s penetration and the RF energy, which can better target specific concerns like acne scars or fat deposits.

Morpheus8 treatments are priced based on the treatment area. Depending on your situation, we may recommend more than one treatment or suggest skin care regimens pre– and post–treatment.

HOW THE PROCEDURE WORKS
Morpheus8 delivers customized RF microneedling to various skin depths to rejuvenate and tighten damaged or aging skin on the face or body. Unlike other treatments, we can customize the depth of the needle penetration to precisely target specific skin concerns. Here’s what to expect during your Morpheus8 treatment.

BEFORE & PREPARATION
• Our provider will address your goals and concerns and explain how Morpheus8 can help.
• Your provider will design a personalized treatment plan which may involve
multiple Morpheus treatments, skin care products, platelet–rich plasma, or
exosomes to enhance your outcome.
• Avoid sun exposure to the treatment area for seven days before treatment.
• Discontinue irritating topical agents for 2–3 days before treatment.

DURING THE PROCEDURE
• The procedure takes 30–60 minutes.
• Your provider will administer topical numbing cream to minimize discomfort during the procedure.
• Your skin will be cleansed and prepped for treatment.
• Your provider will place the stamping handpiece against your skin, and the
energy is administered through the needles into your skin. This special
disposable attachment is only used for your treatment.
• Most patients experience a prickling, vibrating sensation accompanied by
heat during treatment.
 
AFTERCARE & RECOVERY
• The treated area will feel warm for about 30 minutes following Morpheus8.
• Immediately after the procedure, your skin may be red for a day or two
following Morpheus8. You may also experience slight swelling, and this will
diminish over time.
• We encourage you to avoid wearing make–up in the treatment area for one
to two days.
• Avoid sun exposure for two weeks and use sunscreen with SPF 50 daily.
